Mahasamund, 02 December 2019 / As per the intention of the state government, paddy is being purchased in the district from December 1 on the support price in the Kharif marketing year 2019-20. On the first day of paddy procurement, the state level team took stock of the preparations for paddy procurement in the district. MD Markfed Shammi Abidi and Special Secretary Food Shri Manoj Soni oversaw the purchase centers of Sher, Jhalkhamaria, Khallari and Narra in the district. The preparation of paddy procurement in Paddy Procurement Center, Sher and Jhalkhamharia was found to be satisfactory; the same gunny meter in the Paddy Procurement Center Khallari was chaotic and the mishure meter was not operational. On which MD Markfed resented and directed the society manager to be suspended immediately.
