Chief Minister  Bhupesh Baghel today spoke to Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu and took information about the incident of farmer’s demise in Matrodih village in Durg district today.  Baghel gave instructions to provide every possible support to the family of deceased farmer. Chief Minister  Baghel has expressed deep condolence to the grief-stricken family of the farmer.
Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu today reached village Matrodih (Manchadur) of Durg district and met the grief-stricken family of the deceased farmer Durgesh Nishad. Sahu consoled them and assured them of extending every possible support. He announced financial aid of Rs 4 lakh for the family of the deceased.

Late Durgesh Nishad’s father told Home Minister  Sahu that his son was in stress as despite the sprinkling of disinfectant, their crop got damaged. Durgesh’s father had advised him to not to get upset and had assured him that all the family members together will overcome this loss, but he took the extreme step. He told Home Minister that Durgesh owned 1.5 acres of land. Taking the matter into serious consideration, Agriculture Officers were directed to find out about the disease. Minister directed the officials to issue contemporary advice regarding the crop damage due to the disease.
